Haiti Relief

“In response to the 2010 catastrophic earthquake in Haiti, the Haitian Professionals of Philadelphia (HPP) took immediate steps to become an official 501 (3)(C) non-profit organization.  HPP joined forces with the Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) to establish a fund to support Haitian relief and rebuilding efforts, which provide financial resources to organizations on the frontlines that are helping the Haitian people to rebuild their communities and lives. Our relief efforts included short-term emergency relief; our swift and strategic response included sending medical supplies, medical professionals, water, and food to our beloved homeland. To date, HPP has donated over $36,000 to six dynamic organizations.  Continue reading to learn more about our relief efforts.” Read More
